Photo Finish Friday: Supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Motherhood has been full of surprises. Some are the ooey, gooey, wonderful kind that make you so happy you feel like your heart might burst at any moment.

The flip side? No one warns you how hard your Momma’s heart will hurt just hearing about a sick child. No one tells you simply hearing about a tragically terrifying diagnosis will bring a huge the lump to your throat immediately and struggling to keep it together you’ll say a prayer for the parents, because, you simply can’t imagine the depths of their pain.

I have been a supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital for a long, long time… long before Sinatra came on the scene. These days the urge to do something more, more substantial, more powerful to support the families of St. Jude is huge. That’s why I am honored and proud to be the Captain of the I’m Possible Dreamers! We will be walking to raise funds and awareness for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital on September 26th. Our team is committed to raising $1,500 – and we’d sure appreciate your support – you can donate here.

Every photo sold at Laughing Goddess Photography will benefit our team with 50% of the profits going directly to our fund-raising goal.

If you’re in South Jersey that day – join us! Start your own team or join us (we are a friendly bunch). Not in the Garden state? Fret not! There are walks all across the country – pick one near you and lace up your kicks!

My passion project is Laughing Goddess Photography where I share my crazy brand of creative with the world. I offer some photos and raise funds for worthy, worthwhile causes and charities.
